Solutions
In IOLTA We Trust
As an attorney, managing client trust accounts is a critical responsibility. We work closely with you to ensure your trust accounts remain fully compliant with The Florida Bar requirements, while keeping client funds properly segregated from operating funds at all times. Our services include the required three-way trust account reconciliation to help maintain accurate records and preserve the integrity of your firm’s bookkeeping.
Advanced Client Costs
For law firms that manage advanced client costs, maintaining accurate records of expenses paid on behalf of clients and later reimbursed through settlements or awards is essential. We ensure that all such funds are properly reconciled, reported, and classified in compliance with applicable court rulings.
Workflow
We begin with a thorough review of your financial data to assess its completeness and accuracy, allowing us to determine the best way to support your bookkeeping and billing needs. From there, we develop a customized workflow system tailored to your practice, designed to improve efficiency and help save both time and money.
In addition to QuickBooks Online®, we use Hubdoc and a CRM portal for secure online document management, communication, and automated receipt storage. We also employ legal practice management tools such as Clio™ and LawPay to streamline invoicing, document handling, and billing processes. Our firm specializes in secure cloud-based solutions that keep your data protected, organized, and easily accessible.
With QuickBooks Online, Zoom virtual meetings, integrated cloud applications, and fully digital workflows, your bookkeeping and billing can be managed securely and remotely — whenever and wherever it is most convenient for you.

Special Services

We will do an in-depth review of your books to detect trouble areas and transactions that need to be cleaned up. We will diagnose problems and determine the level of cleanup needed, detect transactions that need to be correctly classified, and give you guidance on how to perfect QuickBooks Online so that you can get timely and meaningful reports. Afterwards, we will meet with you to go over our analysis and recommendations.

If you have a backlog of work or problems with your books, we will help you get back on track. We will transform your books into an organized, efficient system that is compliant with Florida Bar regulations, by: standardizing the chart of accounts, transaction categories, and advanced client cost tracking; setting up 3-way reconciliation of trust accounts; establishing streamlined billing and invoicing processes; producing accurate profit and loss statements and balance sheets reports; and ensuring that you have a clear financial view of your law practice.

If you are new to QuickBooks Online, we will set everything up, customized to your business needs. This includes company configuration, setting up the chart of accounts and products/services list, importing vendors and customers, uploading your logo, and setting up opening account balances.
NextDoor Bookkeeping customizes pricing based on your individual business needs. Pricing is dependent on the services that we provide and the complexity of the work.
Pricing for all our services is provided up-front. Monthly services are due on the first of each month and are automatically charged via draft using ACH.
